Your hard disk is an extremely fragile piece of equipment. It has data stored on platters and there are read and write heads on each platter. These platters rotate at an extremely high speed to give you the desired performance and speed on your computer. However, on the flipside, because the speed with which these platters move is so high, the fast rotating platter is prone to serious damages even if there is a slight disruption in the movement.

I am a lucky computer user who has never experienced data loss in the last few years of computer usage. In other words, my data has never turned inaccessible due to the malfunctioning of my system. The nature of my job necessitates plentiful reading. While working on an article one day, I read a topic that described the mode of dissipating work-related fatigue. In it the author had mentioned, that holiday trips may be a refreshing one time occurrence, but viewing the snaps taken there revitalise people for long. These photographs reawaken joyful memories.
